Courtney LoMonte L.Ac

Hi! I am Courtney LoMonte,

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac) in the state of North Carolina. I am also a Shiatsu Massage and Reiki Practitioner. Originally from North Carolina, I moved to Oregon to attend the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland from which I hold my Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (2014). This is where I also learned Shiatsu. I am certified as a Usui Reiki Master and Teacher and have been practicing Reiki for nine years. I have a Bachelor of Arts in History & Women's/ Gender Studies (2003) from North Carolina State University.

Before branching out into my own private healing arts practice in 2018, I worked at a community Acupuncture clinic in Eugene, Oregon and gave close to 4,000 community Acupuncture treatments in 2 years; and at a small family Acupuncture clinic giving private Acupuncture, Shiatsu & Reiki treatments to ages 12 and up. In addition to these modalities, I am also a practicing folk herbalist and have studied with the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, School of the Sacred Wild, The Gaia School of Healing & Asia Suler of One Willow Apothecary.

I recently partnered up with my husband and we started Gaia's Magical Goods, a small batch hand made herbal goods and natural dyed textile business. I like to spend my time outside in nature, in the sunshine, beside the ocean, surrounded by trees or watching a river. I love gardening, reading, making jewelry, creating art from plants and being with my awesome husband and magical cat.

My Philosophy

I really love what I do. I love helping people discover and sometimes rediscover parts of themselves. I focus my healing practice on Mental & Emotion balancing while also working on physical pain and other imbalances. I find that the combination of Acupuncture, body work, energy work and plant medicine is very calming for the whole spirit not just the physical body.
